Shawn Filer was born in Seattle in 1978 and raised in the
Windermere neighborhood along with his younger brother Chris.
After attending Seattle Country Day School and University Prep,
Shawn moved on to study architecture, marketing, and law at
Cornell University and the University of Washington.

Shawn has a passion for the active Seattle Lifestyle and spends
most of his free time boating, traveling, and playing sports. Shawn
currently lives in Madison Park with his wife Jenna and their two
golden retrievers, Payton and Harley.  
Prior to practicing Real Estate full time, Shawn was one of the Northwest's highest producing
insurance executives managing more than $500 Million in commercial and residential
property. Now, as a Realtor, Shawn uses three generations of Real Estate experience and
the most aggressive and expensive marketing in the Northwest.  

In 2007, Seattle Magazine named Shawn the Official Realtor for the Windermere and
Laurelhurst neighborhoods and he has recently been featured in Alaska Airlines Magazine,
Seattle Metropolitan Magazine, Seattle Magazine, and has a Real Estate column in the 2008
Urban Pages. Shawn is also the Founder of Seattle-Luxury.com, the best new resource for
Luxury Lifestyles in Seattle and Bellevue. Although focused on the special needs and
challenges of the Luxury Market, Shawn handles transactions in all price ranges and all
