ABOUT SHAWN FILER
Shawn Filer was born in Seattle and raised in the Windermere neighborhood where both his Parents and
Grandparents have lived for over 40 years. After attending Seattle Country Day School and University Prep, Shawn
moved on to study architecture, marketing, and law at Cornell University and the University of Washington.
Prior to practicing Real Estate full time, Shawn was one of the Northwest's highest producing insurance executives
managing more than $500 Million in commercial and residential property. Now, as a Realtor, Shawn uses three
generations of Real Estate experience and the most aggressive and expensive marketing in the Northwest.
In 2007, Seattle Magazine named Shawn the Official Realtor for the Windermere and Laurelhurst neighborhoods and
he has recently been featured in Alaska Airlines Magazine, Seattle Metropolitan Magazine, Seattle Magazine, and has
a Real Estate column in the 2008 Urban Pages. Shawn is also the Founder of Seattle-Luxury.com, the best new
